Running Favorites

Hello everyone! I am finally back and am excited to bring some new post and announce some exciting projects over the next few months!

Today I am going to share with you some of my favorite products that have really helped me reach my fitness goals this summer. Yes this is about running, but I think these products are good for any type of fitness enthusiasts! In the spring I had this great Idea to train for a Half Marathon, I figured it would probably take me all summer to train for and I could enjoy a beautiful 13.1 mile run in in the beautiful fall! I am working on another post to share with you all about training and the run but for now, enjoy these products that I have taken all summer to test out!

Aftershokz Trekz Air - Wireless Bone conduction headphones. You will notice that these sit in front of my ear not in my ear. This is so you can hear ambient sounds while listening to your music. I was so thankful for this as I am running on highways and gravel roads with farm equipment and big trucks. Nothing ever caught me off guard and I felt really safe! I think these would be great for mom’s running with kids as well. I have worn these all summer, even when I am on the phone, I do yard work, cooking and cleaning, all while being hands free! These have been the best investment!

On Running Shoe - A good running shoe can help reduce the amount of stress on your hips, knees, ankles and toes. Very important if you are training for any type of distance run. Theses shoes are advertised as “running on clouds”. I found them super light and comfortable. The only downside was large rocks would sometimes get stuck in the tread, they were still way better than my old Asics that would pick up every single rock!

Glide For Her - This saved me and my poor inner thighs. I have never been able to run in shorts until this summer when I found this Anti chafe balm. It doesn’t leave any weird residue or get on your clothing. It is hard so if you hold it against your skin for 10 seconds it will easily glide on.

Stance Socks - You need good shoes and good socks to stop blisters. These are thick compression socks that come up right below my knee. The compression feels great on my calf and support the arches of my feet. Light and breathable.
